I absolutely hated this series! the main character is psycho, the female characters are sex craved slaves to his charms. One moment he wants to jump in the sack with them the next he hates them. I love a good dark and twisted series, but really!!! I will never waste my time or money reading any of this authors books.Product details

The ending has finally come and I have mixed emotions. I have to admit Kenneth has always rubbed me the wrong way but in this book I totally hated him. I cringed every time he spoke to Lisa, I wanted him to wake the heck up and realize how asinine his thinking was. I know he was upset but to me he was so paranoid and childish. He didn't redeem himself for me until the end. The twists and turns were unexpected and I liked that I didn't figure them out. I did have theories and I think mine were far fetched at best. I wished the end wasn't as rushed as it was I'd like to have known a little more about the kids lives before they became adults but it was fine. I did cry at the ending and I will miss them but it was time for the series to end. Thanks Liv and I'll can't wait until the next series.
I absolutely loved this series! Liv Bennett is a fantastic writer and I have read and loved all of her books. She doesn't disappoint with this one either! Be prepared to be excited, confused at times, angry, happy, sad and joyful! This series contains it all. I was angry at Kenneth in this one for the way he treated Lisa, but that's what books are all about. If they don't make us feel all types of emotions, then the author isn't doing their job! He fully redeemed himself though. As the reader, we know the intents of Lisa's heart, but unfortunately, Kenneth couldn't see that. He was so blinded by his wife's betrayal and the love he felt for her, that he had to blame someone for his anguish. I think deep in his heart he knew Lisa was good. Definitely a roller coaster ride of emotions, but a Happily Ever After! Thanks for sharing this wonderful story with us, Liv!
This concluding part to the story was absolutely breathtaking, I can think of no other word for it. Kenneth is still convinced that Lisa has deceived him, even believing she may have contributed to Loraine’s death. To her he is a different man, devoid of all emotions; this promiscuous and uncaring person cannot be the man she fell in love with. Kenneth has got Lisa exactly where he wants her feeling alone, abandoned and her dreams of a future with him crushed. Now that Monika is dead, Loraine is not her sister, Kenneth cannot bear the sight of her and his kids don’t need her, Lisa seizes the chance to start a new chapter in her life. Lisa loves Loraine’s children, and made a promise to look after them, and it is this love that brings her back when she is needed. Then Lisa discovers her life is based on the biggest of lies and she is not who she thinks she is, and this puts her life in danger. There were so many twists and turns, nothing in my wildest dreams could have prepared me for the end of this story, and I was totally captivated by it; it was certainly a fitting conclusion. This story has evolved around seven instalments and each one has kept me totally enthralled, waiting for the next book to be released and I was not disappointed. I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Great set of books
This is finally over, thank God. Kenneth is horrible, his behavior is deplorable for most of the book. Then, there's Lisa, she's the biggest doormat there is. She finally grows a pair for about 2 weeks, or 1 Chapter and then puff, back with Kenneth she goes and suddenly all is great even when he plain tells her it's just sexual. They got the HEA, finally. I was enjoying that part, the first epilogue was just beautiful and then...there was a second epilogue, and that ruined everything for me, HATED IT. One epilogue too long, over done and over the top. My biggest recommendation would be not to start this at all, especially if you are like me that needs to finish what they start. I want my time and money back.
Do not know if this would be considered a spoiler alert! As one other reader mentioned, I did not like (hated) 2nd epilogue. I would have preferred a loving, romantic, sexy love scene for Lisa, she certainly more than deserved it.
Loved this series of Liv Bennett books. I finished the other 6 books about one week before book 7 was released and almost died wait for the release date of Reclaimed... Liv is truly an excellent writer and has a way of capturing her audience with her writing. Keep them coming I know I am waiting for your next book.
